Here's a fun little time waster that's not really a waste of time. Free Rice is a vocabulary quiz that donates 10 grains of rice for every vocab word you get right.
It also scores your vocabulary level. I hovered around the 40-41 mark most of the time, but did make it up to 45 at one point. Warning: can be addictive. By the time I forced myself to quit, I'd racked up 2000 grains. I'm such a sucker for word games.
