Dylan's cast came off today, one day shy of four weeks since he broke it. Overall, it was an easy healing process. The doc said because of his age and because he is still growing, in six months or a year the break won't even show up on an x-ray anymore. What a relief that he healed so quickly and so well. I was also very glad that he could have a real bath tonight and properly wash his arm and hand. The cast was pretty dirty and stinky. Dylan had talked about taking it home, but, thankfully, he changed his mind when he saw it.
